A clear indicator muscle is a muscle whose proper communication with the brain has been established, usually with the manual manipulation of spindle cells, so that it may be used as a reliable means of gathering information from the body. As a result, this muscle is used communicate with the body on a general level, as opposed to the specific muscle/meridian relationship, where you monitor a muscle to get information only about that muscle’s related meridian.
